El municipio de Tecámac inició los trabajos de rehabilitación de la carpeta asfáltica en el bajo puente ubicado en el kilómetro 42 de la carretera Lechería-Texcoco, que presenta un severo deterioro y dificulta el tránsito vehicular en la zona.
Desde septiembre pasado la Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) autorizó la obra a solicitud de la alcaldesa, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, en la que se destinarán recursos municipales.
A pesar de que el sitio forma parte del territorio ecatepense, el retorno es utilizado por automovilistas para trasladarse hacia Los Héroes, principalmente la Quinta Sección de Ecatepec y Sexta de Tecámac.
Desde este jueves, personal de la Dirección de Obras con el apoyo de maquinaria comenzó la remoción de la carpeta asfáltica, para proceder al reencarpetado.
La presidenta municipal expresó su agradecimiento al alcalde de Ecatepec, Fernando Vilchis, por su apoyo y autorización para ejecutar los trabajos, que beneficiarán a la movilidad tanto de habitantes de ese municipio como de Tecámac.
